By combining electronic sound programming with rhythmic elements and themes derived from Jazz, Funk, and Latin using acoustic instruments, a new mixture of music is revealed. Solar Agency is the continuance of a project which started out in February 2002 as a recording session containing only electronic music. Acknowledging the lack of acoustic instruments to provide true spirit to the theme, Tony Andersen invited multi-guitarist Mike H to provide acoustic tracks for the recording. Throughout these recordings, both musicians realized that combining their different ways of thinking musically - in terms of programming and/or playing - could result in a specific sound. Solar Agency was then formed as a continuing partnership between the two - a meeting held between the worlds of electronic and acoustic music.Contact & info:
