Hey Princess, thanks for everything. You made this six months a lot easier than it could have been. Sometimes the days roll by, other times they drag ass! But the day is coming, and I will be home shortly! Then, everything is straight downhill from there! I hope time goes slow as hell when I get home, but speeds up when I get back out here! In either case, I can be assured you are gonna be there to make sure it passes as easily as possible! Love you babe, Armond

Goddamn it’s cold son! People are pretty curious about this actually, so I will explain. This is the desert, and the desert is known for a couple thing… Dust storms, extreme heat, and sometime extreme cold. Now it isn’t as though it is always 30-40 degrees here, but the sudden drop in temperature can really wreak some havoc with your body. Imagine going from 100 degrees to 50 degrees in less than a few hours?! Yeah, seems like a mindfuck huh? But it happens!!! So in this pic it is actually about 34 degrees if I remember correctly. So of course I look a bit miserable, my Humvee didn’t have heat!!!

Yeah, that‘s the pool that is right outside my patio door. Nice huh? It goes down to about 15 feet on one end and 4 on the other. Very nice. I definitely enjoyed it for my first month or two. Then it got too cold! I will be back in that badboy once the sun decides it likes us again! Surprisingly not as many people as I would think actually frequent it, which is just fine for me. I found out that I enjoy it when emptier so I can swim some laps!

That right there ladies and gents is the road that leads to a beach that is connected with my compound. Just for your information, I live on a resort, in Arabic it is called Shaleh Shehab. I don‘t know what it means, except for the Shaleh part, that means resort. I think Shehab might refer to the owner‘s name. I took this pic when I first got here, so of course it is all sunny and stuff outside! And not to say it isn‘t, cause it is, the beach is beautiful. Got more pics coming!!!

And here is the beach!!! Looks great huh? I didn‘t get in yet, I am waiting for the right kinda weather. Right next door is the Kempinski, a resort hotel which I frequented for internet access and food sometimes. This was of course before I got my laptop! Some very nice people work there, and they treated me pretty good! But I will take a dip when the temp rises again. Also, the Kempinski rents out jet skis, even better! So as soon as I can, I will hit the water and take plenty of pics for all to see!!!

And here is the resort hotel which is located next door to where I live. It was a nighttime pic because I was leaving there after using the internet to chat with people and send out e-mails. That was such a hassle, but it had some great food there! Top notch! I have to say, if I were to visit Kuwait (which I do not recommend for a vacation) I would stay here... Oh well, I will be going there to rent jet skis when the spring/summer comes!!!
