Olivia Christy Singer/Songwriter&ActressOlivia Christy Singer/Songwriter&ActressOlivia was only three years old when she began her musical career as a performer at a nursing home with her church choir where she surprised everyone by quickly memorizing all the lyrics. She sang continually for the next four years in this choir then at the age of seven, she sang at her Grandpas funeral and amazed everyone with her singing abilities. Her voice had the qualities of a twenty five-year-old. Later that same year she auditioned for her school talent show performing Pennies from Heaven in honor of her teacher Penny and got the job. She also was invited to sing solo at her church. She continued singing solo in church and sang on Christmas Eve every year. At the age of eight she auditioned for the local musical production of Scrooge and scored the role of Tiny Tim. She was soloing in her first acting performance. She was written up in the newspaper as a young Shirley Temple and received her first outstanding review. The next year students at her school were asked to donate money to an organization of their choice. She chose the local nursing home where her grandpa had lived and she sent them a heart-felt letter describing how much she appreciated the care they gave to him. She was awarded a certificate and was asked to sing. She chose America the Beautiful and received a standing ovation. At the age of eleven she sang an amazing performance of You Make Me Feel So Young in the 5th grade talent show. The next year on Christmas Eve she sang Mary Did You Know at her church and brought the entire audience to their feet with a standing ovation. In the spring of 2003 she was asked to direct ribbon ceremonies at her church where she taught little girls dance routines and even performed them herself. When she turned twelve years old, after her graduation from middle school, she and her mom attended a family Christmas party and was asked to sing. She chose The Christmas Song. One of the guests took an interest in her singing and rushed her into a recording studio where she recorded Rocking around the Christmas tree; the song was played on several local radio stations on Christmas Eve. When she was thirteen years old she performed Take My Breath Away at a local mock American Idol contest. She placed at the top out of 300 contestants and literally took down the house. She has continued to improve her talent while performing solos at her church and at weddings and other venues in her local township in Massachusetts. She is soon to be sixteen years old. She is multi-talented and extremely versatile in her singing abilities. She can sing in all styles and is not limited to just one. She does her own chorography and has written lyrics to over 100 songs. She is equally talented as an actress and a model. She has been asked to model throughout the years at local shops and has received awards like Best Dressed and won the local parade theme contest with her idea, a Victorian Christmas. She has found that these abilities have added to her musical performances by making her more comfortable and at ease as a performer.
