Coming together in 2008, The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter seeks to express. Whether it be thoughts, emotions, or experiences, The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter looks to say what words simply can't.
In 2007, Ben Nankivell and Travis Dalton began playing music with Collin Brewer, and the idea of a band was born. Soon after, being joined by Jacob Massey and Brian Cox, the project had completed it's first step towards completion- starting.
The weeks that followed can be summarized by words like chemistry and cohesion, but the science can only be defined by providence. The band played its first show hardly a week after forming and hasn’t looked back since.
Between gigging and recording their first EP, “We’re Not Meant to be Aloneâ€, the guys have been pretty busy, but they can’t stop there. The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter is out to change the world- not for riches and fame and other trifles of life, but to help in a movement much bigger than five twenty-somethings; to take a stand against ignorance to the world’s issues, to help unheard voices shout.
Now, striving to the unique, The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter refuses to submit to the nothing new and hopes to be turning heads for years to come.
