Jake Madlock

Jake was born in Arkansas but grew up in a small town in Oklahoma. With most of his family being from Arkansas and Texas he grew up listening to country and southern rock music. "I remember as a kid riding in the truck with my uncle or grandpa and hearing Charlie Daniels, 38 Special or Steve Miller Band. My roots are in country music but I love all types and styles." Jake has been influenced by so many different artists like: Travis Tritt, Garth Brooks, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Allman Brothers and John Mayer. Jake is a singer/songwriter and musician who uses real life experiences in a lot of the songs he writes. Jake was forced to take some time away from music when he had kidney failure in 2005. "It was really hard on me, I felt like my life was over." After receiving a transplant in 2006 he feels like he has a new lease on life and is chasing his dream with everything he has. "I just want to share my music with people and maybe someone who is going through a tough time in their life will find comfort or hope in one of my songs!"
