Playing piano is one of the talent's I hold close to my heart, because I am amazed at the ability my fingers have to work a piece of music...Chopin's Nocturne in E minor and Debussy's Clair de Lune (still working on it) are just simply beautiful. One day I will own a grande piano; mark my words. I'm into photography as well; mainly black and white. And again, mark my words; I will have a dark room some day as well. I love to cook and bake. If you want a good meal, give me a call. I make a good lasagna and a mean cheese steak (with real sirloin...yum).
ANYONE AND EVERYONE! I'd like to meet anyone that can teach me something I don't already know. That's not an arrogant statement; I've got a desire to learn!
I listen to a variety of music: rock, alternative, country, celtic and new age (here's one of my quirks!), and anything else that tickles my fancy. Bon Jovi is my favorite band. I saw them in concert July 2006 at Soldiier Field, and it was the best experience. Note to self: must see Bon Jovi again!
Movies are "wo"man's greatest invention...it gives those of us confined to reality a chance to hide from it for a while. As far as what I like...I'm a sucker for the romantic comedies (gotta love How To Lose A Guy in Ten Days). I strongly dislike the scary movies. If you ever want to scare the crap out of me while watching one of these movies, all you have to do is poke me in the arm at an intense moment and I'll jump sky high. A weakness, yes I know, but I'll resort to admitting it. If you want to see a completely wacked out movie, see The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy...would be great to watch while intoxicated! You wouldn't be boggled by why it just doesn't make sense.
Lost, House, Family Guy, Mind of Mencia, Grey's Anatomy...all the wonderful shows showcased on network T.V. Not everyone can afford cable or satellite. But...if I had the luxury of cable T.V. all I would be watching is the wonderful FOOD NETWORK!
I love to read! It's a great way to escape and expand on reality as well as your mind. The only thing in life we have complete control over is our mind, and books are an excellent way to explore it. Good books: Atlas Shrugged, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Di Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, The Red Tent, and believe it or not, Mindful Loving (if you want to gain a new/different outlook on life, I highly recommend it)
One person... God... I thank God every single day for the family and friends I have been blessed with. Without God, family and friends, I would not be the person I am today.
