About Me

I'm just a regular guy who gets up before sunrise to get to work Monday through Friday.

I'm attending college for my Computer Systems Technologies degree - soon to get my CompTIA A+ certification - and am also planning on getting networking cert. and a few others... we'll see. When I'm not working or studying, I'm playing my World of Warcraft game. Hell, even when I'm supposed to be studying I'm playing the game! If anyone wants to group up, I'm guildmaster for "Latin Knights" (yes, we have TeamSpeak server!) on the Alliance side of the US - Zul'jin server. My chars are:

I'm also hooked on working with my saltwater aquarium. It's just so much cooler than freshwater. So far I have a seahorse, 2 clownfish (yeah, Nemos, if that's what you wanna call them), a Hippo Tang (um, Dory, the forgetful one), a diamond goby, a few marine hermit crabs, an emerald crab (google it to see), and a cleaner shrimp. There's also a few feather dusters, anemonies, a starfish, and a clam somewhere in there too. I'm obsessed! NOTE: The saltwater aquarium has been taken down. I moved to my new place and didn't have a temp place to keep everything, so I turned it all in to the shop. I only kept the live rocks in a bucket of salt water since they'll last - the rest would've died. It'll be up someday again. :(

My Interests

..Music (all types, especially Latin), Movies on DVD (horror, sci-fi, action/adventure, fantasy, foreign (some), and 'toons), saltwater aquariums, World of Warcraft , traveling (mainly to Miami), and a few other things...

Music:

My top favorite music is Latin (salsa, merengue, bachata, pop/balada, rock, etc) followed by 80's pop/rock/dance, and world music (Italian, Portuguese, Hindi, Arabic (mainly Egyptian and Lebanese), etc...).

My two favorite singers are Marc Anthony and Christian Castro (aka Cristian Castro - he likes to change the spelling) both tied at the top. Favorite females, well, just one for pop/ballads: Laura Pausini. As far as salsa goes, India is not my favorite (she's alright - just screams too much)... my top salsera is Saned Rivera. I also listen to others like David Bisbal, Nek, Gianluca Grignani, Luis Miguel, Alejandro Fernandez, Tamer Hosny, Amr Diab, Iwan, Manny Manuel (favorite merenguero), yadda yaddah yaddah... One group you need to look out for: Talking Buddha !!!

I also do some singing (former student of Betty Saunders with a little bit of Seth Riggs's speech level techniques). I am thinking of actually going to the recording studio and see what I can do, just for fun.

Movies:

..I'm into action, fantasy, comedy, sci-fi, horror, growing-up films, even foreign films.... I'm almost into anything except most "hip-hop" culture films. I just can't stand the way they behave and talk - it sounds so ridiculous to me. Ya feel me dawgz?!?!? Stated!!!!(see what I mean?).Titles in my DVD collection: Lord of the Rings Trilogy, all episodes of Star Wars, Harry Potter series, The Matrix Trilogy, Underworld, Resident Evil 1-2, X-Men 1-2, Spiderman 1-2, Crouching Tiger..., Hero, Day of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, Land of the Dead, EuroTrip, Monsoon Wedding, Napoleon Dynamite (that's IF I ever get it back), Old School, various Disney / Pixar movies (they're awesomous!), Y Tu Mama Tambien, Strawberry & Chocolate, etc... For collectors series: The Simpsons Seasons and South Park Seasons DVDs...The rest is locked up where the kids can't find them...

Television:

..I don't do much television watching, though lately I've been watching Scrubs, House, even some Hispanic films on the CineLatino channel. Since I do collect political/sociological cartoons on DVD (South Park, The Simpsons, etc...) and I do channel-surf, I usually stop at one of these shows when they're on.
