..When your world moves at the speed of sound, people usually hear you before they see you. But if you ask London Tings to describe himself or his music, the usually chatty producer/DJ from North London, England, suddenly finds himself at a loss for words. A ruff n-tumble raggamuffin with an ear for solid gold, Terry Bruce, aka London Tings, is a producer whos not fucking around. Whether he's playing around - in London, the East Village NYC, or a home studio in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn, he's not rampin! With an eclectic intensity split equally between the sound of his music and the feel of it, LT's work is more than just notes in your ear. Its an experience that translates across genres, locations and audiences and does more than speaks for itself.
Relocation to the US resulted in an expansion on his sound and his opportunities. In 2000, he signed to a deal with Codek Records, releasing two singles that showed the scope of LT's production talents as well as his ability to move a crowd with both tracks making international DJ play lists. Golden Buckey, a broken beat mantra of sorts, remains one of LT's favorite tracks to this day.His current work includes an encompassing sound thats as eclectic as London Tings himself. His high-energy sets draw a diverse crowd looking for the sounds that he spins. His original tracks run the gamut from house and electro to hip hop and ragga, maintaining the driving sensibility that motivated him first in London and now in New York. His recent collaboration with the like-minded Kingston19 has led to the birth of Los Negros Musicales, a production team whose budding catalog of work is committed to the worlds of sound. With all this, we welcome you to a world that moves at the speed of sound. Welcome to London Tings.
