I like to vacation; mostly the wilderness. Like to hike. I like to read philospohy books on ethics and various eastern religions and a handful of physic's books on breaking theories, like the String (M) Theory; Stephen Hawking rules!! It's fun to be a Geek!
Epictetus and Marcus Aurelius; if you don't know who they are, it's okay
After getting a music degree I have became pretty anal on what music really is and hate the stupid pop-shit that most radio stations play now-a-days. I listen to a lot of Trance sets and DJ's like Paul Oakenfold and Fatboy Slim. I also listen to music like NIN and Tool. But you can never forget your roots with the cheesey 80's music and metal; just keeping it real.
I like stupid comedies, like Not Another Teen Movie. Any Quentin Tarantino film kicks ass! And of course my geeky philosophy kicks in with films like the Matrix trilogoy and Memento.
All reality TV sucks ass!! The only shows that I watch on a normal basis is American Chopper, Southpark, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
Regretfully I have a crap load of philosophy books, (ethics, religious, and Stoic based). I have a few books on based on sardonic humor of such great comedians like George Carlin. And of course a crap load of music books and sheet music.
On a broad category, anyone who actually tries to make other peoples lives better. This DOES NOT include asshole theorist's who believe by making you purchase their book your life will be better. If you are trying to capatlize on your success by making pepole buy your crap, then you are not a hero!! On a narrow category, I would have to say people like Socrates, Jesus, Buddha, Marcus Aurelius and anyone else that believes he can help society by looking at the world in a different light.
