Minister Steven Fluker Hill is one whom the Lord has anointed to both reach and touch the hearts of the Lord’s people, no matter what age, race, or ethnicity. This yielded vessel has been anointed and equipped to carry out the mandate that the Lord inscribed upon his heart: “To empower the Saints of God to give up RADICAL PRAISE unto Him and to follow after the promises of God!â€
Minister Hill’s journey began at early age in the rural city of Waycross, Georgia. It was here in 1989 that he was introduced to Christ and baptized at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church by Reverend Arnold McKinney. After his initial encounter with Christ, Minister Hill’s heart was pierced by an urgency to learn the Word. And yet, the Lord would require more of him. While faithfully attending Macedonia, Minister Hill’s aunt would often take him to church with her. Missionary Carolyn Lucas Fluker, his aunt would expose him to a grater dimension of the Lord by taking him to sanctified hand clapping, foot stomping and tongue talking church in which she attended( The First Born Church of the Living God, Inc., under the auspicious leadership of Sr. Bishop Albert Hill, D.D). It was at this renowned and sanctified church that Minister Hill would come to the true knowledge of who God was, when the anointed Elder Kenneth A. Kirksey allowed the Lord to use him during a New Year’s revival in 1996 at the First Born Church. After much observance, it was people like Elder Kenneth Kirksey, Evangelist Louise Flynn, Mother Bonnie Virgil, Missionary Azuloy Burse and Minister Errol Flynn allowing the Lord to use them that caused the power of the Holy Ghost to strike Minister Hill’s life like a bolt of lighting. This caused a dance in his feet, a word in his heart and speaking tongues in his mouth. And from that day forward he knew his life would never be the same.
As the years progressed, God began to mold Minister Hill and crown his head with knowledge, wisdom and understanding through the Word and the power of the Holy Ghost. In 2001 while attending the “Celebration of Praise Holy Convocation†under the leadership of the Chief Apostle Bishop (Dr.) Q.S. Caldwell, God gave Minister Hill a vision to ingather and gather the young people in a radical conference promoting their encouragement and empowerment. This vision came to pass June 5, 2001 in Folkston, Georgia at New Jerusalem House of God Saints in Christ Church, where Bishop James Gelsey is pastor. From there the Lord surely showed that promotion truly comes from Him, as he continued to use Minister Hill in a profound way to reach the people of God.
In 2003, Minister Hill was introduced to the greater dimensions and realms of God through the ministry of the late world-renown evangelist, Prophet Nathan L. Simmons. After listening to his messages on holiness, prayer, and spiritual gifts of the Holy Ghost, Minister Hill knew that Citadel of Hope Evangelistic Church of God in Christ was the place of his new level in God. Now under the leadership of Pastor Angelic DeWitt Simmons (Wife of the late Pastor Nathan Simmons) Minister Hill is active in the Youth Department, BOYZ 2 MEN Usher board, Ministerial Staff, and have implemented The Radical Youth for Christ Conference and Midnight Breakout Services at the Citadel of Hope. While, sitting under the leadership and ministry of Pastor Simmons, Minister Hill has been licensed by the Church of God in Christ, Inc to minister the word of God abroad.
