About Me

So, my last name happens to be the same as this band. That's about as far as I'll go with any association or claim to fame but I'll take it. I do like to play guitar and I created this page a while back just to show an old friend some tunes I was working on. It's since morphed into my own simple little tribute, most of which is dedicated to growing up in and around Cleveland, Ohio during the 70's and early 80's. A true honest reflection of where I've been, the reality of where I'm at now and maybe a vision of what I'll be looking forward to in the days ahead.Like most everyone around my age somewhere in the midst of Ed Sullivan, Elvis and the British invasion I got hooked on music. My ears were ringing along with all these Polka, Country and Pop artists my parents also liked at the time. I really can't help but remain true to those roots and that's just the way it is. My initial introduction to the concert experience started on the KISS Alive tour and from there on I attended some memorable live performances throughout the years, well I remember most of them. I've managed to save some ticket stubs and other stuff (see my pics) as well. I finally picked up the guitar in high school and then barely graduated from Euclid in 1979. No doubt we partied a lot in those days and I was very lucky to have quite a few friends on the local music scene. I'd go to all the practices and gigs around town and enjoyed the fringe benefits that eventually came with helping out on some of the road work and promotions. I will say I've had plenty of chances to get on stage and to this day I'm still sort of a not ready for prime time player. I'm quite content on where I stand musically as I have learned a few tricks along the way and acquired some decent gear. I'm always visiting the music stores and clubs around town so you never know what's next. I've tucked those old cuts away on another page and I'm hoping to brush off the dust and return to that project at some point....here it's all about the journey. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..
