TOP FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW TO BE MY FRIEND

1. Do not think you “know†me, because more than likely you don’t and you probably never will. People only know the person I allow them to see and I only show the real person to a few select people. If you are one of those people, consider yourself lucky as I am a very good friend and will do everything I can to make your life better, easier and happier. If you are not one of those people don’t worry about it because I will probably still try to make your life better, easier and happier because that is the kind of person I am.
2. I am a size 16. I do not buy a size 14 and complain when it’s too tight. I buy an 18 and smile that I have to wear a belt! Life is way to short to spend time worrying about what people think about the way I look or feel.The people who care don’t matter and the ones that matter don’t care!
3. I have learned over the years to say what I mean and mean what I say. Most people spend so much time worrying about what other people think or what they are going to say or feel or whatever that half the time no one knows what anyone thinks or feels. I just don’t have time for that. When I tell you something, know that it is the honest truth as I see it at that point and time. Granted my opinion may change due to circumstances but that doesn’t mean I lied. It means that I am smart enough to continually adjust my belief system and change when necessary. I mean seriously, life is hard enough what with gas prices and raising “healthy†children that the last thing I have the energy to do is to exert the effort of trying to figure out if the person I am dealing with at the moment really means what they are saying or if they are speaking out of their behind.(For those of you who do really know me, you know that the word I just wrote is actually ass)
4. I don’t “love†often but when I do it is without end, without condition and with every ounce of power within me. There is only one person in this world I would die for and that is my son. There is only one person in this world that would stand by to face death with. There are probably only three people that I would do absolutely anything for, and can’t imagine my life without them and they probably don’t even know that they are in this group and not the next one. Anyone who I consider a real friend knows already who they are and they know that I would give anything I have help them in their time of need. Ninety-nine percent of the people who know me know that they can call me anytime they need something and I will always be there to help them.The other one percent of you, well, all I can say is let’s just hope that you don’t ever need anything from me, that you never piss me off and GOD FORBID that you would ever, EVER do ANYTHING to one of the people off of MY “top five list†cause this girl don’t play or you’d better be watchin’ your back!
5.The most important thing you probably should know about me is that I believe the most sacred thing that someone can do is make a promise. Don’t say to me that you promise to be somewhere and then don’t show up. Don’t tell me you promise anything that you cannot do short of being stopped by death. If you do I will never trust you and you will never get to know the real me…see number one and start over if need be.
