dj raiz started performing on partys in 1999 in Innsbruck / Austria.
His special mix between dub / reggae or world beat combined with afro, percussions and ethno styles attracts a lot of dancers & listeners to his music.
As well he had the honour to play with artists like ALPHA BLONDY,
BURNING SPEAR, DUB SYNDICATE, SHANTEL & BUCOVINA CLUB,
HYPNOTIX, YELLOWMAN or THE WAILERS.
For spreading a unique world-music mix around Innsbruck/Tirol dj raiz
became also a member of the EARTHMUSIC team.
Together with dj santo & dj riada there is only one "goal" to achieve:
play global beats for globally minded people, to let them dance
for a smile in their faces.
In the pystrance-scene raiz is specialised to perform at chill out or
ambient floors. An experimental creation linking smooth reggae grooves,
powerful dubs with world music songs.
First steps into music-production let him work together with TRENQUILLO, electronic music producer in different genres. First releases were realized in 2008. Hypnotical, organic beats combining different elements out of folk-worldmusic.
