I am a HUGE Hockey fan! I also am also a history buff, but for activities I love being active and just going and doing things whether it is White Water Rafting, or Camping, walking on the beach, picnics, walks through the park, pretty much anything so much as I am with good friends and fun people.
I'd like to meet:
Ms. America... Just kidding - seriously The type of person I am looking for is one who blends spirituality with intellegence and physical beauty. That is not saying she has to be a model - Beauty from the inside shines through as the inner beauty makes one more beautiful! I am LDS and that is VERY important to me. She neds to be Temple worthy and also should have a good level of patience and outgoing.
Music:
I prefer Country Music, but as long as the lyrics are wholesome and uplifting I enjoy most anytype of music. My personal favorite right now is " God Bless the Broken Road"
Movies:
I like action movies, some sci-fi, and Romantic movies as well as Drama.
Some of my favorite movies have been Romantic Comidies - but I loved Hitch!
Television:
I really only have one show I watch regularily and have since it first came out - Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis -that is pretty much the only ones I have watched regularily - though my roommate is getting me into Lost and Smallville - but other then those I do not watch much TV.
Books:
I read mostly historical based books and some religeous LDS Books, of course the Book of Mormon and other scriptures I read on a regular basis. I do not have time to read fiction though as my occupation makes me read too much during the day so that I really do not want to read more then I need to - would rather go and do active outings with my spare time beyond the scriptures.
Heroes:
Honestly, my biggest hero of all time was Job in the Bible - the way he stuck to his faith and never failed in his beliefs always has stood as an example to me through all the hard times I have lived. Of course the ultimate hero to me is my Savior - he is the greatest hero of all time and nothing can compare to what he has done for me.
In modern day - none spiritual my greatest hero would be Jerome Iginla - a Hockey player who exhibits a great degree of humility and is very pleasant to be around. Never plays himself off as more then he is and always gives credit to those around him.
