I am just like everyone else when it comes to being a sinner in the sight of God, for as the scripture says "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
Who of us can ever claim not to be sinners? I know that when I examine my heart all I see is filth, and vileness. Not one single person can claim to be pure in the sight of God, for all of us have lied, stolen, rebelled against parents, hated, and failed to give God the Glory He deserves.
God is a good judge, and because of His goodness He must punish sin in hell. Yet, God is also merciful, and He shows that mercy when "at the right time Christ died for the ungodly." (Romans 5:6), that is at the right time Christ died for the sins of those who would repent and trust in Him.
To be saved from your sin, from hell, and from the wrath of God, you must repent (turn from sin) and place your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ alone to save you. Your good works will never be good enough in the sight of God, you need to bow your knee before God and cry out to Him, begging that He shows you mercy.
Today will you repent and trust in Christ? Or will you reject Him and continue in sin?
"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved... For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."... The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners..." (Romans 10:9, 13; 1 Timothy 1:15)
