BMC (Bad Moral Character for those who must know) is the brainchild of Philadelphias premiere drum n bass starlet, Miss Behave. BMC first reared its lovely head in the summer of 2005 with a pair of highly successful events called What She Said... which featured at its core some of the best estrogen-fueled talent the Philly dnb scene has to offer. After fading from the public eye in a clandestine mission to support local crews and their events being thrown throughout the Illadlph area, BMC stormed back to center stage when Miss B teamed up with Faith Lacour and brought us the best house party this area has seen in ages. The Curse of the Spooky Cha-Cha created a buzz that BMC was able to translate into the Play series of events. Four parties at The Lounge in Lionville that cemented a reputation that BMC parties are not to be missed.
After recruiting VS23 to the BMC roster as a DJ talent alone, they soon realized that he had the promotional drive to move Bad Moral Character on to bigger and better things. March 29th marked the beginning of great things to come, launching their first major event- Dance Out Loud. The virgin venue was sick, the music sicker, and the vibes were like no one had seen in a long time. Next came Wardance on May 3rd, hosted in the countryside of intercourse, PA. Once again BMC brought you a virgin venue that was absolutely insane, and a Dj roster featuring some of the best national and international talent, alongside our hometown favorites. If you missed out on these events, you can find pictures at gotchabitchez.com or just search for the events on youtube. Better yet, just ask somebody. These parties have already become events of legend.
At the moment, we are planning our next event, but want to make it the best one yet so we are taking our time. We will be following our tradition of rocking out in the craziest places- this time it is sure to blow your mind! So mark your calendars and buy yourself a fresh pair of dancing shoes, cus you're about to get a healthy dose of PLUR and a massive intake of Bad Moral Character. Isn't it more fun to be Bad?
