Jay-Way ( Jeffrey Kesse) wich name stands for Jesus as your way, was Born on the 12th of July 1991 in the South east of Amsterdam also known as the Bijlmer.He grew up as a Church goer but you could never find that back in his deeds. At Sunday school always clowning with the rest of the kids. At the age of 14 his mom sends him to move to the U.S.(New York), because she thought that he would get a better education over there.After almost six months later his mom decided to bring him back. Jay-Way has learned alot in the U.S. and it was one of his Motivations of starting to make rap music. So when he came back he started to write lyrics on instrumentals and his first track was a diss track to a Christian rapper.But there came a day that he got invited to come to a sermon by that same boy that he wrote a diss track about, and that's where the spirit brought conviction. He then realised that he was just a sunday christian before.Soon he got introduced into christian rap by his brother in the faith. He saw that people were really moved by his music. 3 years later Jay is now busy with his mixtape called the 'Not Of This World Mixtape'.He's really not about the money or fame like most folks is, but he sees this music as a tool for God's Glory and to communicate his truth to others.
