Kevin Reimiller professionally known as Smooth was born in the Scranton/Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania area. His passion and desire for music started at a young age and continued ever since. Growing up Smooth was really into sports at first and had dreams like millions of others to become a professional athlete. Smooth’s first love was the game of Basketball, where he was a very talented player and played for many years. Being the talented athlete he was is how he got the stage name Smooth. His late Grandfather would go to all of his games and he would tell him after the game you played smooth today or you were smooth on the court today, and the name just stuck with him. During this time, Smooth also started writing down lyrics and taking music more seriously. He grew attached to the hip hop culture, it was now his new goal to become apart of the music industry and become one of today’s top artists. For years he’s been putting in hard work and dedication to his music and getting the recognition it deserves. One thing about Smooth is the unique style and sound that his music brings to the table. His lyrical ability and flow over a beat is something truly special. In a industry full of competition, he brings something different on every track instead of following the popular trend that most artists try to follow.
