About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. but most people know me as Tom Brady. I am an NFL star with the New England Patriots. I play Quarterback and I am known as one of the NFL's most elite players. Firstly, I'm 6'4 and my weight is 225 pounds. I was born on August 3rd 1977, which makes me 28 years of age. I was born in San Mateo, CA and I grew up a San Francisco 49ers fan, my idol was Joe Montana. I attended San Mateo Serra Catholic, yes that is the same school as Barry Bonds went. I graduated in 1995 with a GPA of 3.5, in the yearbook I was named "Most Athletic." I went to Michigan for college and played limited college football, mostly because I was the backup QB to Brian Greise. I majored in Organizational Studies with a GPA of 3.3. I was drafted to the Montreal Expos of the MLB in the 18th round of the 1995 MLB Draft, but I decided to go off to college. Then, in the 2000 NFL Draft I was selected by the New England Patriots in the 6th round as the 199th overall pick. I am a resident of Boston, MA. My car of choice is a Dodge Dart, but I have won two cars because I was named Super Bowl MVP twice. I have won a Cadillac Escalade and a Cadillac XLR, but I donated that car to a high school as a raffle prize. My father is Thomas Brady Sr. and my mother is Galynn Johnson-Brady. I have three sisters, Nancy, Julie and Maureen. My first football experience was a linebacker in 9th grade. My jersey numbers included ..20 for High School Baseball, ..52 for High School Basketball, ..12 for High School Football, ..10 for College Football and ..12 for the New England Patriots. My nickname is Tommy and the most impressive person that I have met is Gerald Ford. I am both right handed and left handed, my favorite color is blue and my favorite food is onion rings. My motto is "Just Win," my autobiography title is "Here's a story...of a man named Tom Brady," my toughest NFL opponent is Charles Woodson. My craziest ambition is to become a U.S. Senator. My pre-game ritual and superstition is singing songs. I would like to travel to Italy of all places. I started starting for the Patriots after Drew Bledsoe got hurt and I ended carrying my team to the Super Bowl. We ended up winning the Super Bowl by a score of 20-17 beating the St. Louis Rams by a last second field goal by our kicker, Adam Vinatieri. The next year, 2002, my Patriots did not make the playoffs, although we held a record of 9-7, it was a disappointing year for me. At the start of the 2003 season, we lost our team leader, Strong Saftey Lawyer Milloy. Everyone counted us out after we started the season 2-2, but we won our next 12 games and ended up winning the Super Bowl over the Carolina Pathers by a score of 32-29, again by a game winning field goal by Vinatieri. Then last year, we broke the record for consecutive games won and our total got up to 21 games straight before we lost. Our record that year was 14-2 and we won the Super Bowl yet again, this time over the Philadelphia Eagles 24-21. Through the next two years we were unsuccessful in getting back to the Super Bowl...what can I say! The Colts finally got us! However, this brings us to 2007-2008...I'd say it's been a newsworthy year so far! The addition of Adalius, Randy, Wes, Donte, and others was given us a good a core of players. We had the opportunity to make history, carrying an 18-0 record into the Super Bowl before falling to the New York Giants; however, it was still a quite success and remarkable season, and don't worry Patriots fans, we'll be back next year! That's all for now!
