Cleaveland Steamer is a layered sonic experience. Four virtuoso musicians combining to crank out some of the best original rock music you'll ever find. The nucleus of the group is lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist Jayson Hoyl and lead guitarist Kris Aiken. The two of them are responsible for the bulk of the songwriting and arranging of the music. Influenced by bands such as the Toadies, U2, Alice in Chains, the Beatles and even Johnny Cash, E.O.R. have perfected their own, unique sound. Hoyl is the consumate frontman, nobody will ever outperform him. His lyrics are full of emotion and he delivers them with the conviction of a man fighting for his last breath. Aiken's signature lead guitar playing can be found on each E.O.R. track. It has a bouncy, free-flowing quality that is the perfect compliment to Hoyl's gruff bark. Together, the two of them provide some of the tightest harmonies a rock band has produced since John Phillips was putting together the Mama's and the Papa's. Beau Staples is the man behind the drum kit. Staples picked up the drums as a child for exercise and has not put them down since. He too has a unique style of playing that is evident upon first listen. His unwieldly method of playing the drums is an adventure to watch onstage. The intensity and passion he pours into each performance is equaled by the rest of his bandmates. The band is rounded out by the most recent addition, Eric "Scoobs" Pena. Pena provides the low-end and the required laid-back personality to counteract the intensity seeping from the rest of the band. Pena has a great time onstage and does an excellent job of teaming up with Staples to present one of the tightest rhythm section in rock n' roll. E.O.R. is full of attitude, emotion, confidence, depth and humor. The band is based out of San Marcos and the town has always been kind. They have made many friends and fans in each town they've played including Lubbock, Waco, Austin, Dallas, Shreveport, Beaumont, Fredricksburg and Dallas among others. E.O.R. has been rocking stages and stereos since 2000 and have released three studio albums. Where's My Halo? (2002), Vindictive Music Company (2004), and the latest release Wreckard (2006), and coming soon, the acoustic record: Cedar Bend. You can download Echo's Orbit Room's albums at www.ourtracks.com
