Well i was more of a Indie rock kinda guy, love all that stuff but find myself listenin to more and more of these acoustic solo artists, Jack Johnson, Paolo Nutini, Katie Melua, James Morrison etc. The Fratellis are awesome, the best album i have heard in a good 2 years, aint a bad song on it. Dont like RnB possibly the most boring music ever, i can put up with bits of Rap but not a lot, dont really like ne heavy stuff. Im really of the opinion that there are good and bad versions of any kind of music i mean i dont like heavy stuff but system are ace, i dont really like pop music but Will Young is really talented bloke. Annnnnnnd thats about it.
Well where do i start really??! Lord Of The Rings are absolute master pieces, Dogma is amazing and Clerks one and two, in fact we can pretty safely say anything with "Directed by Kevin Smith" on the box is ace. Obviously Tarentino is an absolute legend Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs, Kill Bill all awesome, Grind House and the 300 are gonna be brilliant. Find myself liking Rodriguez more and more to, seems like he is following in Tarentinos footsteps Love Desperado and Sin City. Oh and Pirates Of the Carribean has to get best performance, Johnny Depp is a true genius.Top Five Films.1. True Romance 2. Dogma 3. Lord Of The Rings 4. Pulp Fiction 5. Pirates Of The Carribean.
Well i feel like im just stating the obvious here but Ricky Gervais is a great great man. The Office and Extras are completely Brilliant. In my view the American version of the Office gets no where near as much respect as it deserves either, really really good show. Dylan Moran is awesome, Black Books is brilliant, and the thing is you think hes just acting like that for the show and then you see him in an interview or in one of his standups and thats pretty much just the role he was born to play. Simon Pegg is single handedly making british comedy cool again with films like Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. It sounds really geeky but im loving the re-make of Battlestar Galactica it really is a quality show, its like Saving Private Ryan meets The Negotiator meets Star Wars... whats the hells not to like??. And i can honestly say that the single biggest mistake in television history was Firefly getting cancelled, i have never seen a show with so much quality and so much entertainment value destroyed the way Fox destroyed that, if you see the Firefly box set BUY IT!!! its awesome.
Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit stand as two firm favs, If they would make a dummies guide to Avid express im pretty sure that would never leave my sight!. I love A Midsummer Nights Dream, i Shakespeare play where i understand the humor!
Quentin Taentino and Robert Rodriguez have to be my inspiration as a Director they are both ace, and i think Matthew Perry And Ricky Gervais are two of the funiest blokes goin, along wiv Lee Evans and Dylan Moran, and Steve Bruce is a legend for steering Blues Back into the Prem, But the main man is Steve Carrell, a man who does David Brent better than Ricky Gervais... How can this be! and also the guy who play Gias Baltar in Battlestar Galactica was a dude, until i saw him playin Bridget Jones gay best mate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can quite honestly say i have never seen a bigger waste of talent than him doing that role :P
