About Me

During the winter, the scenery changes, and with it a temporary change to the name of this page. In the winter we do cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog-sledding and winter camping around Minnesota and Wisconsin. Much of this is designed to train new missionaries to the nations of the north. Much of it is because we love winter, and the season of Christmas. We were planning to be part of a winter missions trip to Petrozavodsk, Russia, 250 Km from the Arctic Circle, but the plans fell through. That spirit of exploration and evangelism is alive today in St. Brendan's Travelers. During the winter, we just explore on skis, snowshoes and dog-sleds! Future plans include adventure/training trips, retreats and missions training sessions, as well as family and church group events. Eventually, we hope to end up on the Lewis and Clark Trail to the west, or in Ireland or, God willing, back in Russia. We will see where God wants these trails to lead us."Let's Go Exploring!"
