Hawk Electronics along with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth will partner with Brandon Bass of the Dallas Mavericks to launch the “SLAMS FOR STUDENTS” campaign in support of the “BRANDON BASS REACH BACK FOUNDATION.”

Campaign Purpose: To raise funds for the 2008 Brandon Bass Youth Basketball Summer Camp that will allow selective under-privileged students the opportunity to be educated, challenged and inspired through the art of basketball.

Campaign Effort: Beginning February 8, 2008, Hawk Electronics will donate $50.00 to the “Brandon Bass Reach Back Foundation” for every shot that Brandon makes during each game for the remaining 2008 regular season (ending April 16, 2008). These funds will be applied to costs related to the camp including but not limited to:

· camp staff

· student meals

· basketballs

· awards/prizes

· sports gear

· etc…

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Fort Worth will donate its location, space and selective staff to host the 2008 Brandon Bass Youth Basketball Summer Camp.

Hawk Electronics benefits:

· To partner and give back to the communities of DFW along with the Dallas Mavericks most talked about newest player Brandon Bass.

· To promote its company’s products, services and locations.

· To give Dallas Mavs fans and consumers opportunity to receive a free gift (signed basketball from Brandon Bass and drawing for Mavs game tickets for2008/2009 season) when they purchase a particular product from Hawk (Hawks choice of product)

Campaign Announcement: The campaign will formerly be announced by Brandon and Hawk on March 11, 2008 at 6:00 the during Brandon’s guest appearance at the Boys & Girls Club Forth Worth Center in front of invited youth and community residents and business as well as local media.

The mission of the Brandon Bass Reach Back Foundation is to provide a diverse range of programs and activities designed to encourage and enhance the lives of underprivileged youth in impoverished communities.
