X-it …Rock 'n' Didge!Ein Spagat zwischen Peter Gabriels progressiver Rockmusik der 80er Jahre und der lyrischen Klangwelt eines Herbert Grönemeyer…Die Jungs der Aschaffenburg-Rodgauer Band „X-it“ schaffen das mühelos. – Verbindende Elemente der gar nicht so unterschiedlichen Musikrichtungen im „X-it“-Programm sind außergewöhnliche Instrumentierungen (man nehme ein Didgeridoo und spiele darauf „Bochum“!) und außergewöhnliche Interpretationen ohne jeden pathetischen Bombastismus – vielmehr „’n bisschen mit ’nem Augenzwinkern, das Ganze nicht so Ernst nehmend und trotzdem musikalisch hervorragend – das ist dolle!“ – so Hugo Egon Balder über „X-it”!Günstig wirkt sich bei diesem Unterfangen das Alter-Ego von Sänger Jan Giegerich aus:„[…] Und dann geben die fünf Musiker eine Kostprobe ihres Könnens.
