Forming on October the 1st of 2005, we immediately had chemistry and couldn't wait to bring our music to the people. After over two years of being together, constantly writing, and never getting tired, we are more stoked than ever to play songs for our fans that spread around a lot of the Chicagoan Suburbs and a little bit inward. Not bad for a local band with less just over two years under their belts, if you ask me.
With fast paced, sickeningly melodic tunes that will stick in your head for days, the Geriatrics will come at you with a front of pure good time punk rock.
With the release and successful distribution of their debut album "Shake, Shiver, Sweat" the Geriatrics are meeting the demands of their fans and following it with a brand new, 10 track album with their "best work yet." The new album, due out in May of 2008, is engineered and produced by Joe Gac of BIER SLÃœT and Campsite 20 fame. Some of Joe's work can be heard in other local groups such as Elephant Gun and the latest Brokedowns E.P. entitled "Six Songs."
The boys of the Geriatrics are very excited for this new project and are looking forward to the reaction of listeners.
