About Me

I love trees. They give us clean air, shade and provide homes for animals. Don't chop them down!
My friend Rob took this picture while we were hiking in Anza-Borrego State Park.
Look at how the hummingbird's nest is perfectly contoured to fit the egg and herself.
Ah, perfect!

I only look melancholy. Deep down inside I'm beaming with exuberance.
Hey! I wrote and published my own book. Check it out!
It's available on Amazon.com.
Also, click on to my blog section to read my latest works:
True Tales of the LBC and beyond.
I really like sharks. They're big, beautiful and scary. Don't kill them.
I'm Cuban and Varadero is a place in Cuba with beautiful beaches and expensive resort hotels. Hotel policies and government restrictions are very oppresive to Cuban citizens in Vardero. Boycott Varadero when you visit. Beautiful beaches exist everywhere on the island.
I originated the concept of the devil grrrl, goddamnit! And, as if that weren't enough, I wave a five-fingered mocking gesture in the direction of authority and conformity. Niener, niener, niener, come and suck my phantom wiener!
While Sylvia Plath eats men like air, I eat death on a dish, served cold, at a 1950's diner with a flashing neon sign above my head advertising it's blue plate specials. Thank you Bruce Nauman for putting your nightmares in gaslit tubes.
..
And like this young girl, I have also collected the tears of a red and yellow spotted giraffe in the palms of my hands. Thank you Mark Ryden for painting your dreams.

A Sad State of Affairs
