I am here for Friends

About Me

I am as close as they come to the phrase, "just a plain Jane." I am not extraordinarily talented in any facet of my life nor do I wish to be. I'm that person you see as never being overtly ugly or extremely beautiful. I am who I am and I live by a moral code that was superimposed onto me at my birth. And being average is not at all as bad as they say. I am comfortable with being me. I have to admit that I am very selective with who I talk to. If you do not intrigue me from the start, you will lose me half way through the race. My interests span across many subjects and I find that they make me well rounded.The world frequently tips us upon our heads and forces us to reconsider our lives. Often we encounter moments in life where we are just down right miserable. We always prevail over our sorrows and begin anew. I enjoy being alone just as much as being with friends and family. I occasionally prefer to be a solitary person where I can think and reflect on issues without distractions. I take pleasure in meeting new people who have a voice of their own. I enjoy a healthy conversation about certain issues in the world today and I love to talk about science, film, books, and music. I must warn you though, I know a little about a lot and not a lot about a little. One piece of advice I would like to give everyone is this: Often the silence may teach us more than a conversation could ever give. Rarely do we stop talking ourselves to hear what others have to say. Who knows; you may be surprised by what you could learn. It has taken me many years to learn that and even I occasionally forget to be silent.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4}

Quotes"I readily believe that there are more invisible than visible things in the universe. But who shall describe for us their families, their ranks, relationships, distinguishing features and functions? What do they do? Where do they live? The human mind has always circled about knowledge of these things, but never attained it. I do not doubt, however, that it is sometimes good to contemplate in the mind, as in a picture, the image of a greater and better world; otherwise the intellect, habituated to the pretty things of daily life, may too much contract itself, and wholly sink down to trivial thoughts. But meanwhile we must be vigilant for turth and keep proportion, that we may distinguish the certain from the uncertain, day from night."

I'd like to meet:

Honestly, I do not want to meet anyone new. I only wish to further my connections with the people I have already let into my life. And even though that is a very select few, they are my foundation in which I have built this life upon. They are my rocks, my guiding light, my courage, and my strength. If you care and try hard enough to be apart of my life, then you will probably become one of the few individuals who I pull my light source from. But I have to take my first statement back for a second. There is one person who I would very much like to meet and his name is ______. And if, by chance, he ever meets himself on the road of life, I would hope that he would come and introduce himself to me.
