Forming in late 2007, RETURN TO LIFE was formed by Jason Tedder, Patrick Bailey, Reggie Casstevens, Jay Jenks, and Enrique Salazar. But due to more important things in there lives Jay, Enrique, and Patrick had to go there separate ways. so after a few months off, RTL replaced them with Steven Pinter on vocals, Shawn Miles on guitar, and Ritchie Smith on bass. further evolving the band's sound and taking it to the next level. Many have compared the band's sound to the likes of Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Shindown and others, but RETURN TO LIFE has truly managed to capture a sound all their own... one that is to be experienced, not just heard. The band has been performing live extensively throughout 2008 and 2009, showing no plans of slowing down!
UPDATE: We are happy to announce... RETURN TO LIFE has won the 2008 Battle of the Bands, held @ Club Oasis in Winston-Salem--against a barrage of awesome bands!!! We owe this crowning achievement to YOU, who were there (and are always there when we need ya!) to support us!! It was the first of many "all-original" shows RTL added to their calendar; and with your help... it was a HUGE SUCCESS!!!
ALSO: RTL is currently in the studio recording its debut CD, which is now in the recording and "post-production" stages--due for release in winter 2009. A number of the CD's singles--from the anthemic "Save Me", and the churning slam of "Rebirth"... to the stomping attitude of "Drowning"... to RTL's newest radio-friendly single "Let Go"--have made their way into the band's live show (even before the CD's release)--with awesome reception! New faves include the super radio-friendly "Best Kept Secret", "Broken Down",and "Tears" all of which showcase the band's thought-provoking lyrical message and its musicianship.
The live show currently blasts modern rock covers, along with RTL's original material--into one adrenaline-charged, powerful experience that you won't want to miss! More live show dates are constantly being scheduled, so please check back!!!
