Bio: Caliber formed in 2002, when Miguel Melgoza and his brother Juan started putting together their inspirations into song. They soon realized that they needed a singer and bass player. A close friend of Miguel, Anthony Alarcon decided that he could fill the vocal spot in the band and they immediately started writing songs together. After several months of writing songs, practicing, and trying out new players the trio decided that they needed someone to lock in the rhythm of their metalesque beats. They found their answer in Kim Chandler, who made solid progress in learning the material and adding her expression to the mix. After a year of being together, writing songs, and performing the band decided that something was missing…it was a rhythm guitar player. After trying out a few, the band thought that they would never find the right person: someone with skill, desire, and presence. Dino Delgado met the requirements and faced the challenge with relish, bringing youth and energy to Caliber. In early 2005, due to en ever-increasing rift with the band from infighting, Kim left the band. Although there have been playing shows with substitutes, they have yet to fill the void and are currently looking for someone to fill the spot in the line up. Representing a new hope is Dave Sipes, an experienced bass player that is excited to bring his influence to the band. Perhaps he will be the newest addition to Caliber, he has the skills, but does he have the dedication?

Metal
You're about as hardcore as they come. Music is your passion and you listen to it for talent not because it's popular. You probably have a lot of respect for all artforms and you like classical piano. Slipknot definitely sucks in your eyes...and for good reason. Any band who takes the time to put on make-up and masks just isn't worth your respect.
