Born and raised In Harlem New York, by his single parentedmother "Da'Quan Mayfield", also known as"ATM" was inspired by his Uncle,Bruce"Chip Banks" Lamar Mayfield, a member of the American Cream Teamto whom the Wu-Tang Clan's Rae kwon (the chef) brought aboard. Theinspiration from his uncle sparked him to write his 1st rhyme in the kitchen ofhis grandmothers house at the age of nine. Later that month the death ofDa'Quan's uncle encoraged him to follow in the footsteps of an Artist. Fromwriting ryhmes in his grandmothers kitchen to to creating tracks in a recording studioDa'Quan feels the need to continue his uncle's dream as they become his own! Withmembers of his family running their own independent labels (Mad.Is.On Records and 10Time Records) he's under the influence to give the game his best shot! At theage of 15 "ATM" began ghostwriting for other artist, but still continuedcreating his own music. ATM has recently appeared on street mixtapes suchas the "Kill Mixtapes vol.2 AND 3" presented by DJ Guttaman from RichmondVirgina and Phase 5. ATM is also working on his own Mixtape "Maturity" and aTeam aura Mixtape as well. This young artist has shown histalents on radio stations and promotion websites such asmaximumradio1.com, hiphopunlocked.com, and even team aura's ownauratakeover.blogspot.com. Showing respect to the vocabulary and wordplay of The Notorious B.I.G and other rappers such as Jay-Z or Jadakiss, "toenhance his bars" Da'Quan listens and studies his influences. This artist has reached a point to where he is starting tounderstand the business aspect of the rap game and is in pursuit of becoming wealthy byperfecting his craft and hustling his talents.
