About Me

"I am solo in this world of water, Only the tip of a sunrise visible Like the morning in little girl's eyes. I crave this freedom I find in this little ship. Just my soul and this bread and butter, I am comfortable but there is a treason at sea, Is it me? It is a wonder supernatural cover of war. The dark ones who eternal in damnation grow, Set about me now, How they whine and crow. I am solo in this world of wet, Bitter is my temperament. I close the door to sediment and I relish all my youth. I realize that I am doomed. Fear of love and fear of you . But you give me the keys to Paradise. It is you who sympathize, You in your perfection grow. I am cradled in your ocean's throw. I crave your freedom in this little ship, For you alone can short any trip And like these waves I lose my grip, And I sink into your arms."

My Interests

My interests vary from quiet indoor activities to mall-hopping revelry. I like to read fantasy novels and series, play video games with my friends, play board games with my friends or play around with art. Going to the movies is also fun, but staying home and watching a movie is just fine as well. Sometimes I like to cook but I have to be in the mood. I'm not really a sports fan, but I do like to watch billards on television (if you can call that a sport). I also enjoy playing a little pool. When I'm not meditating at home, I like to shop. Online shopping was made for people like me, unfortunately it's not a good habit to get into. Though nothing can replace the feeling of walking a mall looking for deals. In warmer months, I like to hike along woodland trails. It is so nice to enjoy the outdoors when the weather is nice. I'm not a camping fan, though. I also like to see a good play or musical. Not so much a high school rendition, but something that is well designed with great stage presence. The more sequence the better.

I'd like to meet:

Fellow CCMers and UKers, obscure relatives, old friends from my childhood and from my obscure high schools. If you can relate to me, then I would like to be your friend. I don't want to meet scarry people, extremely obnoxious people, or dumb people. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's dumb people. If you want to give me free food, then I want to meet you. Or send me donations to further my career then that would be okay too. If you are a myspace friend collector, then I don't want to meet you. STAY AWAY!Charlie the Unicorn and Candy Mountain

Music:

My first love in music is Christian Rock. The genre has an awesome beat and it speaks to me emotionally and spiritually. There are so many sound variations included in this genre that there is a sound that meets all of my expectations. Some of the bands and singers that I enjoy are Skillet, Radial Angel, Superchik, Sanctus Real, Switchfoot, Toby Mac, Barlow Girl, Kids in the Way, and Day of Fire. I still like some of the old school Contemporary Christian singers such as the Newsboys, Michelle Tumes, Nichole Nordeman, and Michael W. Smith. Instrumental and classical music is also among my listening repertoire. Celtic sounds, Asian instruments, and Native American dances along with Mozart and Beetoven make up my interests in this music genre. I also enjoy modern instrumentals from groups like Apocalyptica. Showtunes are always good fun. "Chicago" and "Into the Woods" are only the tip of the iceberg. The realm of pop and pop rock music is also in my scope of interest. I really enjoy the bands Lifehouse, Three Doors Down, and a little bit of Nichelback along with Clay Aiken, Kelly Clarkson, and even the soft sound of Enya.

Movies:

Almost any film with a superhero is good enough for me. "Spiderman", "Batman", and the original Superman quartet are some of my favorites along with the X-Men movies. The two Addams Family movies are very fun in a disturbing yet cynical kind of way. Of the computer graphic movies that are out I think "Shrek 2" is my favorite. The other's just seem to be forced for laughter; Shrek has so much truth in it that it has to be funny. The Incredibles is a good watch as well. I am a total fan of the original three Star Wars trilogy. The new ones are good but don't have that endering quality that made the 1970's movies a hit. "The Return of the Jedi" is my favorite of these three. I also like the made-for-tv movie "Merlin". For television, the film was produced very well and had a good story though not altogether accurate. "Stargate" is probably one if not my most favorite. I love the series and especially the movie that spawned it. On a different note, I do enjoy a good drama every so often. One of my most favored movies of all time is "Driving Miss Daisy". It shows the growing relation between two people of different backgrounds in a heartfelt and melancholy tale. Two of my favorite Sandry Bullock movies are "Two Weeks Notice" and Miss Congeniality". Both are good fun with clean content. Lastly, I enjoy some of the Disney animated musicals such as "Aladdin", "Beauty and the Beast", and "Mulan". "Aladdin" is my favorite of pack.

Television:

Probably my most favorite shows of all time are Stargate SG-1 and Xena: Warrior Princess. They both have great scripts and both are light hearted and fun. Along the same lines as Xena is the show Hercules: the Legendary Journey. I really enjoy most shows that have to do with superheros as well. HEROES is awesome! Really like the broken story line and episodic nature of this show. Also like Smallville and the older Wonder Woman series are high on this list. And who could not like at least one of the Star Trek series? My favorite is The Next Generation. I will also watch any James Bond movie (except if it has Timothy Dalton in it). I also like a good crime drama like CSI Las Vegas and a good mystery like Poirot. My interests don't stop at real action shows; I also enjoy a few anime shows. Inuyasha and Hack//sign are two of my favorties along with Read or Die and Naruto. From my days as a youngster and even until now, I enjoy cartoons. My all time favorites are the Fox X-Men series, Animaniacs, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, and Batman: the Animated Series.

Books:

I read like it's my job, but I especially love to collect books. My favorite genre to read is fantasy. My favorite authors are Barbara Hambly and her Dragon'sbane series, anything David Eddings but especially The Redemption of Althalus, R. A. Salvatore and the Forgotten Realms universe, and Ed Greenwood and his Band of Four novels. Also enjoy anything Tamora Pierce. On another note, I really like High Fashion costume and hair books especially from the MET collections and Kyoto Institute collections or any other collections like those. I also like creative makeup books that contain new ideas and techniques. Ancient history also is great in my opinion. Greece, Egypt, India, and Central America; I do not discriminate between cultures. On a lighter note, I really enjoy comic strips like Peanuts and Calvin & Hobbes. Also from my younger days, I still love K. A. Applegate's Animorph series (says this with a tear in his eye). Those were the days... Last but certainly not least, I love the Bible - the spoken word of God. It has everything you could want in a book: fantasy, mystery, wonder, and love. It's so romantic.

Heroes:

There are a few people that I would consider to be heros or role models for my life. Bill Gates is the first on my list. Not for the fact that he is the wealthiest individual on the planet, but for the reason that he came from nothing. He is the epitome of the "American Dream". And he is one of the largest donators to charities in the world. He fights for cures for Aids and against hunger in Africa and around the world. The man has the money and he uses it. The late Christopher Reeve is also an inspiration to my life. He had so much determination and will to live that he kept going. He inspired people through his writing and what filmwork he got after being paralized. His resolve to walk up until the very end is very inspiring. Clay Aiken is the last on my list. Finally, there is someone in the spotlight who is a good person. So many times stars are portrayed as rude or even cruel at times. There is at last one who is open about his morals and values. He seems very genuine in the media and in his love for handicapped children. His is another story of what it is to live in America. You can be a nerdy boy from the south and still make a difference in people's lives.
