March on Seattle

About Me

March on Seattle was originally set up to bring together a worldwide organisation of Nirvana & Kurt Cobain fans in order to form a peaceful protest march throughout the streets of Seattle. Such a large-scale operation has thusfar proven impractical, given the many issues standing in its way. These include legal problems, financing, and the many hundred miles that most enthusiastic participants would be unable to travel on the day.
However, a more feasible tactic can be implemented through this MySpace page in probational replacement of a mass march. Over the next few months, we are here to spread the word of the Cobain Case, encouraging you to contact both media and relevant legal authorities about the various inconsistencies in Kurt Cobain's death. Hundreds, if not thousands, of concerned emails, letters and phone calls surely cannot go unnoticed. A list of contact addresses and numbers will be posted on the site in the next few days.
We are not attention-seekers, nor crazed conspiracists. Regardless of whether the conclusion is murder or suicide, we are simply striving for a fair assessment. If this is eventually attained, our work will be done.

So what happened the "march" part?: The march will only go ahead if enough people are aware of it - tens if not hundreds of thousands. We do not know if such numbers are attainable ad cn only hope for momentum though internet wordof-mouth.
Reasons for protesting: There has been a constant back-and-forth argument over how Kurt Cobain died. Many of us have been left confused and simply want closure.
Our Stance: We are taking a neutral position in the Cobain Case. We are neither pro nor anti murder theory. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty, even if there is obvious evidence pitted against them. We are not attacking Courtney either. We would simply like her to clear her name if she truly has had no part in Kurt's death.
Replying to questions: All messages will be replied to by the main march coordinator. (Try to message us with questions instead of leaving comments).

Getting back on track

A lot of you must have noticed that the site has become pretty vacant over the last 4 months or so. This is because I'm still the sole individual trying to get the campaign off the ground. It's been v...

Some people have been asking if there are any banners they can put up on their myspace. Well, we have a few to choose from, some are our own and others have been submitted by members of the march. Fee...

COPYRIGHT ISSUES

To anyone wishing to shut us down, (rightfully or not?): The March on Seattle logo: The logo was an original idea, drawn up and edited on a computer. Although inspired by Nirvana, we can't see how it...
