Hey there, I am Juliana, wife of almost 6 years to my beautiful husband Turbo and mother of two fantastic young children, Levi (5almost yrs.old)and Judah (2yrs) and pregnant with our 3rd due in Feb 07' . I love being a mother. I consider it to be one of the biggest blessings in my life. I am a home birthing, cloth diapering, child led weaning (nursing)natural parenting, and home schoolin kinda mama. My family is my top priority, so excuse me as I will be posting items for sale slowly. Rest assured though you will be getting a quality item. I have been sewing since 1990 when I was just in Jr. High School. I really took to it and stitched up a storm. I started sewing my own clothes and sewing for others. Then I began selling my clothes at consignment stores,festivals and fairs.
I am the creator of Hug-a-sling, the baby/toddler ring sling carrier which started in 2001 just soon after I had Levi and realized the benefits of holding your baby. Soon after Paisley Pieces was born. Paisley Pieces was birthed from the idea of making hand made clothing out of bandanas. Paisley Pieces then grew into many baby, toddler and young childrens clothes made from not only paisley bandanas but many other fabrics as well to give those clothes a funky flare. I also make nursing and maternity clothing, cloth diaper items, and natural cloth toys as opposed to plastic toys that can be potentially harmful. I take huge pride in my work. I focus on quality not quantity. You will see and feel this when the item is worn. I use brand new cotton fabric. However, on occasion I will use gently recycled fabrics or I modify recycled clothing to reduce waste and clothe your little ones in unique or vintage attire. Each item has been inspired and created individually. Although i do make a line of clothing that you get to pick your size and color you'll also see that many of the pieces will never be the same as I strive to give you the most one-of-a-kind design. Due to the originality of each design, I try to make the items as adjustable as possible. For example, some of the drawstring dresses fit like a dress, but then as a shirt when the child is a bit older-and looks even cuter over pants, long skirts become cute knee length/calf length skirts, and some of the drawstring pants can then fit as long shorts/capris as well. All seams are sewn on my Kenmore and serged on my 4 thread Janome and then topstitched or reinforced/double stitched where needed. ~*~ I am dedicated to making my clothes comfortable, flattering and to last a very long time through the wear and tear of your childs day. ~*~ If there is any item you would like but in another color or size, I gladly welcome custom orders.
