About Me
Hi, i'm Joel. I'm known for my eclectic personality. One moment I can make you laugh with my jokes, the next moment I can make you smile with my kind words and some times I can even bring tears to your eyes by telling you some of my life experiences. Mostly, i'm known for my sweet and sensitive side that guys are very notorious for hiding, but me, i'm confident enough to let mine show. I don't care what others have to say about me, I live my life how I want to and I break down barriers that stand in my way of achieving the goals I have set for myself.
My friends are my life. I have three best friends who mean the world to me. John, i've known for a very long time and I consider him more a brother then a friend, he's like family to me and I love him to death. We share alot of common interests and have always been there for each other. Jessica, John's fiance, while I haven't known her as long as i've known John, she is still a very good friend to me and if she's special enough for my boy John to want to marry, then she's worth having as a best friend. I hope to share fun and exciting moments in life with her. Then there is Erica. Erica is the most sweetest, yet the most shyest girl i've come across in a while. She has alot on her shoulders right now and is still able to smile everytime I see her. She is going through so much right now and i'm trying to be there for her every step of the way like a good friend should be.
I'm also an avid gym-goer. When I go to the gym to workout, I usually powerlift, but I also tend to strength-train too. I love working out, it helps me relieve alot of the stress that I go through everyday. I break personal records in the gym each and every week. The success in the gym directly influences the success in my life, as I have learned that if i'm strong enough to physically lift the weights that I do, then I can be equally strong enough to mentally break any barriers that try and block the path to achieving my goals in life. The gym has become a second home to me, when I first started going, I was just a weakling who could only bench-press 125 pounds and dead-lift 190 pounds. Now with months of training and dedication I am currently bench-pressing 275 pounds and dead-lifting 400 pounds. Who knows what the future has in store for me, but I know that I will continue to tear down any obstacle in my way to get my life to go where I want it to.
