My main project is the progressive rock/metal band Mind Over Matter, but I also write a lot of solo material that is not part of the band's style. I love all kinds of music and this page will showcase some of the other styles in which I write. Although primarily this page will have my acoustic music, you will also get exposed to some of my instrumental work. The passion that comes through in great singer/songwriter's works speaks directly to the spirtual inside of me. I wish I could sing like that. I wish I could write like that. I wish I could play like that. But, I do enjoy the bit of acoustic music that I do write and play. I hope you enjoy it, too.
I also love writing instrumental music--music that just involves being moved emotionally by sound. To me it is a bit more of a challenge to write an instrumental that keeps the listener engaged from beginning to end, than it is to have a lyric and vocal over top that holds the listener's attention. So, you will get to hear some of these stylings here, also.

Live life and don't let it pass you by. Sometimes it is the pain in life that lets us know we are truly alive. Be happy and thankful that you can feel joy and pain. We would not feel pain, unless we truly loved, and how could we be truly happy in life if we had not loved.
