About Me

Storybook Farm and Equine Rescue is located in Tunnel Hill, Ga. The horses and donkeys here were mistreated, neglected, abused, or all three. Many end up having issues too great to fix and they stay here permanently. Others are able to overcome their problems and are suitable to move on to a new home. I always have wonderful animals available for adoption looking for loving permanent homes. I am also level III Reiki master and use Reiki on all of the animals. Please check this page frequently for updates on new arrivals and to see what's going on with the permanent residents. I will also post fundraising events here. The website for the farm can be found at www.storybook-farm.com. My photography site can be found at www.crystalmontgomery.smugmug.com. Also, please check out my photos in my profile for before/afters of the rescues and pics of the animals here.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

My photo of Brighty and Dorothy won the Equusite.com photo contest for February! And we won again for September! Once again, a photo of Brighty and Dorothy.**Check out my photos for some more before/afters** Below is Dancer, an older Arabian mare, the day she arrived and just a couple of months after. She was really very easy to get healthy again, which goes to show that there was no reason for her to be in such poor condition to begin with. This is too often the case. Investing in senior feed and good hay really goes a long way for older horses.
