Lorenzo's greatest passion has always been music, from rock to punk and today finally being into electronic music. Going from genres to genres meeting different people, living different places. The passion for punk-rock was born out of a great interest in snowboarding, skateboarding and surfing. But the big change came in 2002-2003 when he lived in london when the indie-rock and electro-clash was big. Clubbing at nagnagnag (mecca of electro music in london), trash and coolest after hours Secret Sundaze at bricklane, he came in contact with a new musical genre.
In electro-clash he found rock mixed with electronic, and also some great remixes of 80..s band like Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Joy Division and New Order, witch already was favourites. He started buying his first records with breakbeats style like tomboy, and really enjoying the sound of the munich based gigolo rec. He came back to bologna where this music sciene was not very developed yet and will probably never be. He started to play almost every sunday at stile libero bar, one of the most open minded bars in bologna, especially when it comes to music.
One morning in one of his dj set he met Piero Grazioli (le petit aviateur maybe attracted to the different kind of sound not new for him but for the crowd) he invited lorenzo to make a dj set on the radio (radio citta fujiko at smokewagon). Also this meeting influenced his music style, moving towards a tech-house and more deep-minimal style. He met the guys from "crash" and "jabelectronic and he starts collaborate with them, playing at various parties and after-parties around bologna. Right now he is working on a "netlabel" proget called "audioboutique" (www.audioboutique.it) and also with the local radio station, live on radio citta.. fujiko. In his dj-sets you can listen to different kind of music, from tech-house to techno.
