Columbus' only spa like relaxing tattoo salon...
Where classy people converge for a luxury tattoo experiences...
The number of individuals using tattoos and permanent body art for self-expression, aesthetic or other purposes has increased dramatically in the past several years and there is no indication that this trend will change in the near future; with nearly 40% of all individuals ages 25 to 29 currently having one of more tattoos.
ISSUES TO CONSIDER:
1. Sterility of the environment and equipment used in the procedure Ask questions! A tattoo parlor should be clean and uncluttered. Ask if they have an autoclave for the sterilization of reusable equipment. If the machine is not visible, ask to see it. A tattoo artist should be gloved and follow universal precautions relating to exposure to bloodborne pathogens during all procedures. A tattoo artist should be more than willing to answer any questions you have regarding the precautions they take to ensure both your safety and theirs.
2. Types of materials used Tattoo artists should use single-use materials whenever possible, including single-use needles, single-use ink containers and gloves. You should see the artist unwrap the needle prior to your procedure.
3. Experience and Ability You are about to make a purchase that may quite literally come with a no-return policy! Not all artists posses the same amount of artistic ability or have the same level of experience. An experienced and reputable artist will be proud of their accomplishments and happy to display their work.
4. Location and size of the art work It is important to consider how your new artwork will fit into your lifestyle, not only today but also well into your future. Consider what type of career you plan to have and how the size and placement of a tattoo might affect your future. Will you cover your tattoo while you are at work? Think about your style of dress. Do you anticipate your sense of fashion changing? Be certain that you are willing to live with the results for a very long time.
Ultimately, your decision to purchase any form of permanent body art is very personal. At Envy SKin Gallery, it is our belief that self-expression without regret is possible. Our goal is to give consumers an option to choose high quality, safe Tattoos and to address the continuing issues regarding the safety and removability of permanent artwork.
