The NCGAG began in 1996 when the National Officers appointed Rev. Arvetra Jones Jr. as President. The NCGAG's purpose is to educate and inform Gospel Music Announcers of how to produce quality Radio while also informing the world of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.The NCGAG follows the guidelines and principals set by the National Convention (GMWA), and encourages new recording artists of how to get radio air play. We educate Annoucers in monthly meetings and showcase new artists at the end of each month throughout the state of North Carolina.The NCGAG has an Annual Convention every year. During our four-day Convention we have presenters in workshops from areas throughout the country speaking on fundamental information about radio and the Gospel Music Industry.
