Maelstrom Edge apparaît réellement en 2007, alors que la formation, déjà constituée d'Arthur (Batterie), Rémi (Basse) et Neil (Guitare), accueille Pierre (Chant/Guitare).
L'idée était de créer un mélange des différents horizons musicaux de chaque membre (du rock anglais au funk, en passant par des sonorités 60's/70's, voire même du métal) tout en conservant un esprit clairement Rock.
Aujourd'hui Maelstrom Edge se construit autour de ce même principe d'ouverture d'esprit envers les differents styles, toujours en se donnant à fond lors des prestations live qu'ils essayent de multiplier un maximum.
Quatre musiciens que les apparences pourraient séparer mais unis autour d'une passion commune et surtout prêts à partager avec le public.

m Edge, trully apears in 2007, when the band, already featuring Arthur (Drums), Remi (Bass) and Neil (Lead guitars), looking for a new singer, welcomes Pierre (Vocals/rythm guitar).
The idea was to create a mix of the band members different styles (from english rock, to funk, with 60's and 70's music, and even some metal) but always staying Rock.
Today Maelstrom Edge is building itself up around the idea of open minds towards different music styles, always giving themselves on stage accross various gigs that they are trying to multiply at maximum.
