About Me

Christina DeRosa grew up on Long Island, NY, the youngest of two daughters. Her Career in Musical Theatre began at the tender age of eight, singing and dancing as Orphan Annie and as a munchkin in "The Wizard Of Oz” alongside Natalie Hershlag AKA Natalie Portman. After attending one year at the Boston Conservatory on a scholarship for Musical Theatre, Christina took the expression ‘Break a Leg’ too seriously and literally fell directly on her knee onstage while rehearsing. The injured knee did not stop Christina’s career; In fact, she took it as a sign and moved in a different direction. Upon recovery, she made the move to Los Angeles, where she graduated from UCLA’s prestigious School with a BA in Theatre, Film, and Television. Since then, she has taken acting classes with all the best of LA and her career has taken of. Christina DeRosa just wrapped a series regular role on HBO/CineMax’s new groundbreaking series ‘Zane’s Sex Chronicles’ which is airing on CineMax Currently, every Friday night.Check out www.hbo.com for times. Appearing in smash-hit shows that span network and cable television, her show credits 'Worst Week', ‘Dollhouse’, ‘Everybody Hates Chris’, ‘Reno 911!’, ‘General Hospital’, and ‘Entourage’. Christina is slated to appear in several films in Fall 2008, including: ‘Extreme Movie’, ‘The Grind’, ‘Marco Polo’, ‘Palo Alto’ ‘The Group’ and ‘Run! Bitch Run!’. Christina is also the spokes model for ‘Shoes For The Stars’, "A Unique Shoe Design for a Unique Woman" and ‘Timmy Woods’, "The handcrafted wooden handbags, which are a fresh statement in fashion, and sculptured pieces of art". Additionally, Christina was featured in the July 2007 issue of Playboy as ‘The After Hours Babe of the Month’. Aside from acting and modeling, this multi-talented firecracker is busy rehearsing with Music Director and renowned concert pianist, Cody Gillette to debut in December with their Cabaret Piano Bar Show.

In the tradition of KENTUCKY FRIED MOVIE, the film is comprised of a series of sketches, most of which revolve around teenagers and sex.
