I have been an assistant photographer since 2003 and enjoy working with Hillsman Jackson at SMU. I am also an independent contractor in the photography industry. I am currently registered with ASMP. I started my interest in photography 25 years ago with a 110 camera. Graduated to a 35 mm Minolta when I was a teenager. Now I shoot with a Nikon DSLR. I enjoy working as an assistant photographer and as a photographer. It's not a point and shoot job, it's physical! So when you notice some ones great photography, think of them standing on their head while calculating light theory and speed or something simular to an outrageous position to get that awesome shot. I've done it and it was worth it. I beleive my most stupidest and bravest stunt was photographing a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake. The passion will make a person walk on the high wire if necessary.
I'm just a mom, wife and photographer in Texas. Casual and laid back. Love outdoors and good food with good people. Mostly a nature nut. Or sometimes just a nut!
