About Me

remember that band from the 90's called porno for pyros? i think it was a perry farrell side project. the only interesting thing about them is they recorded a song called "we'll make great pets."anyway, jackie futon and the pensive dracula friendship club is a band consisting of jackie futon on vocals, guitar, bass, synth, kazoo, synthdrums, synth kazoo, synth audience applause, synthbeercan wobble, synthmitochondrion, synthbetablocker, and synthbodily emission; and the pensive dracula friendship club plays everything else. for live shows, matt plays synth, bass, and guitar while rob plays drums. jackie futon hardly plays anything at all at live shows because he's a lazy bastard, and he figures everyone else will just do it all for him while he sits back with a miller high life and chillaxes. "that's b.s.," according to an anonymous bandmate.the pensive dracula friendship club also includes you, if you ever attend one of his shows. if you don't, sorry, you are not welcome here. actually, just kidding, you can be in regardless of whether you attend. jackie futon is a real kidder. he also is a kazoo fiend, and he will give you one, if you don't already have one, so you can play along with him at shows. no, really, everyone in the audience with a kazoo plays along with the band. pinky swear.there is a lot of lore surrounding the name "pensive dracula friendship club," and jackie futon will be happy to explain it at a show sometime, but he's already typed too much here, so...sorry about that. incentive to see him live, i suppose.and if you see him live, be sure to bring a kazoo, or one will be supplied unto thee.importantly, JF+PDFC loves you, but most of all, jackie futon thinks we'll make great pets.
