About Me

Well Well, thanks for stopping by and checkin out the site. Hopefully you are liking the stuff you hear. Any ways, as you may have guessed this is the site of me, Juke Wyatt. I play the bass and I am able to do most styles or genres. The only stuff I'm not really that educated on is Indian tabla music (which I will dive into one of these days), Dragonforce type stuff (cool in it's own right), and main stream- production pop (aka Brittney Spears) which I just not flexible enough to stoop that low.... yea. I went and got one of those degrees in Classical music of all things at Virgina Commonwealth University. My concentration was in the Upright Bass but these days I've been playing quite a bit of Electric as well.

Band Members: I play with a rather foxy red head named Alyse Black. This siren has quite a few awards and credentials to hear name. The list is long so you'll have to check out her stats at alyseblack.com and myspace.com/alyseblack. She's got some pipes ya'll... really. Now on my music list I've got some songs that I've done and songs that are on the albums of Alyse before I joined up. Take a listen and you'll figure which is which. Hope to see ya soon... and not just online or on the phone... in person like it should be! I'm not a bad sub player. If you've got a gig, and need a bass player, I can probably do it if I happen to have the night off. Ya never know!
Influences: Edgar Meyer, Bela Fleck, Miles Davis, Stanley Clarke(on upright), Mike Marshal, Our Lady Peace, Counting Crows, Parliament, Medeski Martin and Wood, The Bad Plus, Andrew Bird, and many more..., but let's not forget Radiohead, and Ray LaMontagne
Sounds Like: you've just become Odysseus while roped to the mask of a sail boat!!
