We come from Ballroom History, the Legacy starts now…
The House of Legacy International was founded in the Summer of 2007 by both Luna and Steve; the Overall Father Steve Legacy International who has been walking Big Boys Runway and Bizarre Runway since 1996 in the House of Jourdan, Blahnik, and later becoming Father Khan in NYC.
The Overall Mother and Legend Luna Legacy International who has been walking various categories since 1988 in the House of Penda’vis under his Mother and Icon Avis Penda’vis. Luna has succeeded in Face categories since the 1990’s in the House of Latex, Xtravaganza, Blahnik, and later becoming Mother Khan in NYC (Mother of the Year 2003-04). Those who know the many contributions in the arts and in the development of youth empowerment Luna has demostrated over the years know that this is his driving force in life.
Together their vision for The House of Legacy International represents the past, present and future of the house and ball scene. Through Dedication, Commitment, Fashion, Beauty, and Style they will strive to be on top of the scene with pride.
The House of Legacy International shares the responsibilities of maintaining a close relationship with house members, encouraging members to improve upon and master their respective categories, and providing networking opportunities both in and outside the ballroom scene creating a mentorship with house members.
