Josh Gonzalez, aka “Knoxâ€, is a name you will hear often throughout the music industry. A natural born leader, Knox is making it his mission to give up-and-coming artists the opportunity to create and be heard – to help create music that appeals to the masses – music that can be heard and appreciated on a global stage.Born and raised in Manhattan, Josh realized early-on that his interest in the arts was more than just a hobby – he decided to pursue the music industry as part of his formal education. Graduating from SUNY Oneonta with a degree in Music Industry, Josh’s studies included concentrations in Audio Production, Classical Piano and Drums. He wasted no time in putting his education to work landing an intern assignment at Sunrise Broadcasting. He parlayed this new experience into a Recording Engineer role at Sonart Recording Studio, learning the intricacies of sound mixing, mastering, recording and marketing music.Eager to expand his horizons and experience, Josh took on an assignment at JAMBOX Entertainment, eventually rising to the level of Studio Manager and Assistant Engineer at JAMBOX Recording Studios. The experience of managing the daily operation of three recording studios, creating and implementing marketing plans and strategies has fueled Josh’s desire to promote and create opportunities for artists around the world.These base-line experiences are beginning to pay off.
