Branson MOFrom a young age Lin Duffy realised that music was an important part of her life, as she grew up listening to vocal groups like The Beatles, The Hollies, The Everly Brothers, etc.In the early seventies Lin settled in the South of England. She then went on to form her first Band in 1978 called Paradox. This enabled Lin to gain her first live experience & discover that she had a strong voice performing rock music. Lin began to write her own songs all of which came form her heart many of which have only recently been shared which her fans.Over the years Lin’s voice had become much more mature & versatile, & so she can now sing most styles from rock to commercial pop. Which ever song Lin performs is given her individual touch and this is why she now has an ever growing fan club.In 1995 Lin formed a female vocal duo with Di Selby, called Voice2Voice. They established themselves singing popular covers with backing track accompaniment, performing in many well know establishments all over the South of England.Lin is still performing with Voice2Voice today although she also performs venues as a recognised solo artist.Ballads are a favourite of Lin’s because Karen Carpenter has always been a favourite female vocalist that has inspired her. Also a big fan of Dusty Springfield who herself had a versatile & wide vocal range. Lin now has a voice which has also developed into its own unique style.Lin has her own recording studio called dabosstudio, where she is continuing to record her own songs & covers.Now established as a solo artist with plenty of experience behind her, Lin Duffy has achieved her first goal of performing live at different venues and her has now released her debut album called “Dreamakerâ€.Her ambition is to be successful in all of her musical endeavours & expand her popularity worldwide. undefined undefined
