About Me

My name is Mike and I just read my own profile and man is it out of date. So the house and the Big german Shepherd are not so new anymore, but I still love em. :) Johanne and I are getting along really well. It's amazing how two people can be so different and have such a solid relationship. We never fight. In fact sometimes we get a little bored and will just pick fights with each other cause we get along too damn much. I know, the struggles we have to face, right? but things are going well there. My hockey team is kickin ass right now. We are 12-2 and in second place right now. We are a step behind the first place Muttineers(Mutts as we call em). But we are very determined to play our best hockey. In truth they are a better team than us. They've been around for five years I think and we have been around for only one. So their team skillz are better and more polished than ours. But we've handed them their only lose this year and have every intention of doing it again in the playoffs. We do that and we earn a trip to Toronto for the world North American playoffs where we will face the winners of our division in all the other cities around the US and Canada. If you're not sure about rec hockey, i highly recommend checking out for yourself. You'll get hooked!Recently I got a replacement for my poor old Dodge. The 95 Dodge Intrepid had it's share of mishaps. But it just passed the 170K mile mark before this latest issue. It's engine is still running strong but I've grown tired or fixing all the little things that come up and figure it's time for someone else to take on that adventure. I've moved on to a new car who will hopefully give me less mishaps. I ended up getting an Audi A4 Avant. I know me in a wagon, right? I am catching some flak for that. but think about it between all my hockey gear and my huge German Shepherd a sedan would just not be as good for me as a wagon. In the dodge I had to put an old car cover down over the back seat so Ronin could get in and not screw up the seats. but then if someone needed to sit back there I had to move this huge dog hair infested tarp out of the way and it was a bit embarrasing. Now if Ronin is in the car I put down the back seats and the dog hair stays where it's supposed to, IN THE BACK! :) Plus the Audi is so smooth to drive. The 1.8Litre Turbo engine is surprisingly fast. The 5speed is precise, forgiving, and a blast to drive. The overall build of the car is top notch and just feels classy and sporty.I'll try and update this more often for anyone interested. Hey to all my friends, drop me a line sometime!
