Mr. HeatRock Comin’ Back 2 Da StreetzH-Town’s own Mr. HeatRock, has begun his solo journey with his first album release on Dubb Duece Entertainment, founded by Mr. HeatRock in 2004. Starting his music career in July 2000, Mr. HeatRock went by “Xa,” a well known Dj during his tour in Okinawa, Japan. There wasn’t a city in Oki that didn’t know the sounds of the south that Mr. HeatRock gave the audience. He was the first live DJ to introduce screwed music in the club atmosphere.After two and a half years of working as a Dj and releasing 3 mixed tapes, Mr. HeatRock decided to take matters in his own hands. On or about October 17, 2002; Mr. HeatRock founded Dubb Duece Ent. Many rumors started to uprise about a young Marine becoming a producer, but it was true.A year went by while Mr. HeatRock struggled everyday, at work, at home, and on the streets; looking for up and coming artists. Finally, within a few yards from his office two you Marines jumped at the opportunity to be in the presence of a studio. They later became known as Phoe-Reel, consisting a Dimp, from Mobile, Alabama; and Young Scrap A*K*A Prince the Truth from Rhode Island. Along with Mr. HeatRocks skillz as a DJ, well known career, and management, they were unstoppable. By the end of 2004, Mr. HeatRock and Phoe-Reel had performed in over one hundred concerts, including opening spots for Mr. Cheeks, Trina, and Chingy.From then on Mr. HeatRock drew more attention to himself as well as his young group Phoe-Reel. By December 2005, Mr. HeatRock moved to California and had produced 4 albums and featured on 3 others. In March 2006, Mr. HeatRock stepped down from the club scene and founded HeatRock Recording Studio LLC.
