Al Urban

Real music by a real Texas troubadour

About Me

Al Urban is an honest man who writes honest songs. This Texas troubadour got his first licks with a small record label, Sarg Records. Although the label faded like a tumbleweed in the Texas wind, Urban’s music still plays strong on radio stations across the globe (even hit 23 on Music Row chart). The Rockabilly Hall of Fame artist has had songs cut by Charlie Pride and many other musicians.
Some of Urban’s best known songs include: "Gonna Be Better Times", "Won’t Tell You Her Name" & "Lookin’; For Money"
Al is grateful for all of the support for his music over the years. Because of the encouragement of fans and radio, he has never given up on his first love. Even though he’s busy working on the ranch, he keeps on writing songs, just like singing cowboys are supposed to!
"Al Urban’s ’Gonna Be Better Times’ is a fantastic song and I play it on my radio show. If you like Rock-A-Billy this is for you." -The Mean Eyed Cat Rock-A-Billy Review, KNON 89.3 - Dallas, TX
Al Urban will be releasing his highly anticipated new album in the next few months. He will also be performing at various venues and radio stations throughout Texas. Keep watching this site for new updates!
